The Corporation has provided employment for around 795 daily paid workers. Among these 593 are locals and 202 are repatriates from Srilanka. The main activity of these workers are to tap the rubber trees for natural rubber and to maintain the plantation area. Apart from this there are around 400 casual workers are also employed based on the requirement.
